Jazz, whose history makes up a full century, is a truly captivating music genre. Given this, however, jazz remains to be difficult to enjoy, giving an unfamiliar feeling to its listeners. Deok-Ho Hwang’s “What Has Made Me a Jazz Lover?” is hosted by jazz critic Deok-ho Hwang, who used to be a pop music enthusiast. Here, he introduces jazz pieces that made him eventually fall for the genre. This curation program is for beginners, but the aim of this program is to overcome the prejudice that “jazz is a difficult music genre” through Hwang’s wide knowledge of culture and years of experience accumulated while hosting KBS Class FM’s “Jazz Notebook.” It is our hope that “more people will come to love jazz after listening to it in STRADEUM.”
