Sound Gallery

How does music engage our soul?

STRADEUM is a space for “listening to good music with good sound quality.” From the 1st basement to the 4th floor, the entire building is filled with good music. The Sound Gallery on the 1st floor welcomes you by opening a preface to stories. It is an exhibition hall that visualizes stories about music. At the entrance, you can hear many celebrities talking about their own love of music and the answers to the question, “How does music engage our soul?” The wall is full of their invaluable words visualized as graphic design

“how music captivated me” remarked by Albert Camus and Franz Kafka, and other remarks by Hae-Chul Shin, Confucius, and Leonard Bernstein, as well as the myth of the Sirens who lured nearby sailors with their enchanting music and voices. All of these words will stimulate your sensibilities for music deep within your soul. On another wall, a hi-fi Astell&Kern system allows people to listen to music selected by the STRADEUM curators depending on themes. The moment you put on the high-tech headphones, you will surely be amazed at the new sound just as Sophie Marceau was in her film La Boum.
